Eyeglass Lenses
New eyeglass lenses and technologies are continuously being developed and brought to market by the various lens manufacturers to meet the varied needs of our patients. We have lenses available from all the leading eyeglass lens manufacturers including Hoya, Nikon, and Essilor.
There are literally hundreds and hundreds of different lens types/designs and features available to our patients. Our doctors and highly trained staff will be able to give you the proper advice and guidance in selecting the most appropriate lens types/designs and features for you. Single vision, bifocal, computer, and progressive lenses are some of the most common lens types available. Progressive lenses are available in many different designs from conventional to modern freeform digitally surfaced lenses. The many lens features and materials available include regular and hi-index plastic materials, impact resistant Trivex™ materials, anti-reflection coatings, tinting and UV protection, Transitions™ photochromic lenses, and polarized lenses.
Not all lenses and features are created equal and in keeping with our philosophy of providing high quality optical services at the best value possible, we select and use some of the finest lenses at various prices to meet the different cost considerations of our patients.
